Jo Wallace – Statement in Open Court

Thomson Heath & Associates is pleased to announce that Jo Wallace has successfully settled her claim against Associated Newspapers Limited in Defamation, breach of the GDPR and breach of copyright. The claim related to two articles by the Defendant, one published on the Mail Online on 23 July 2021 and the other in the Daily Mail on 24 July 2021.

The Joint Statement in Open Court was read today by Isabella Ritchie of Thomson Heath & Associates and Counsel for the Defendant, Gemma McNeil-Walsh of 5RB, in the High Court before His Honour Judge Lewis  – the statement in open court is available here.
