Chloe Vincent
Associate
Chloe joined Thomson Heath & Associates on a short term contract in July 2016 to assist with preparation of trial bundles for a complex costs hearing, having passed her A Levels and not knowing what career path she wanted to follow. She proved an invaluable asset to the team, organising and indexing over 200 bundles of papers and liaising with Counsel, solicitors and the Court to prepare for the hearing.
She accepted the position of full-time paralegal in May 2017 and shortly after that began evening study and successfully obtained First class honours in her law degree. During this time she worked will all fee-earners organising files, preparing complex spreadsheets and chronologies, assisting with the drafting of documents and taking notes at meetings, conferences and court hearings. She then undertook the Solicitor’s Qualifying Exam alongside continuing her work as a paralegal, which she successfully passed in August 2022. She qualified as solicitor in September 2022, specialising in all aspects of media law.
Chloe enjoys working with the fee-earners across all aspects of the firm’s work and also works closely with Mark Thomson and James Heath in bringing phone hacking claims against News Group Newspapers and Mirror Group Newspapers. She seems to have found her “niche” in media law and is enjoying developing her skills as a newly qualified solicitor under their guidance.
